Good medical care goes beyond treating symptoms or conditions. It means treating people.

COVID-19 Update

To keep our patients safe, we at Kona Kohala Health Care are fully vaccinated against the SARS 2 Coronavirus. The staff have also agreed to minimize contact with others and to not participate in large gatherings in order to remain virus free for our patients and each other.

Aligned with the National Emergency Proclamation instituted during this SARS 2 Coronavirus Pandemic, we at Kona Kohala Health Care are committed to ensuring our patients’ optimal health by participating in telehealth visits via Facetime or Duo. Medicare patients are also permitted by Centers for Medicare Services (CMS) to have office visits with our Doctors via phone calls. If you have an issue that requires personal assistance, we are allowing in-person drive-up appointments and office visits. These adjustments will allow our patients to continue their regular visits with their doctors and nurses for maximum health benefits.

During these in-person visits, we will be sanitizing common areas, wearing masks, face shields and gowns for your protection. We ask that you also wear a mask, sanitize your hands, and practice social distancing protocols as recommended by the CDC to keep everyone mutually protected.
